Bred by Robert L. Byrnes (United States, 2007).
Class:
Miniature, Cl., Shrub.  
Bloom:
White, pink and red streaks, stripes, flecks.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, flat, open bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , climbing, lax, narrow, upright.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 4' (120cm).  Width: up to 20" (up to 50cm).
Growing:
Can be used for specimen.  Heat tolerant.  prefers full sun.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  
Breeder's notes:
Does get some BS but shrugs it off and tolerates it well. Will set the occasional OP hip and pollen is fertile. Sister seedling to GIL-07-01.
