Damask Perpetual, Portland.  Red.  Mild to strong, damask fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Height of 2' to 47" (60 to 120 cm).  Width of 2' to 3' (60 to 90 cm). Unknown (1775).
