Lins New Peonies Old Lace Mere words are not adequate to describe this beautiful flower, but imagine a tall plant with willowy but adequate stems, crowned with great, flat, double, perfectly formed bloom composed of precisely arranged, delicate petals radiating from the center. Opens blush pink changing to blush ivory when fully open.

At its first showing at the Minnesota Peony Show in 1945, it was awarded the Grand Champion prize, also first in the one bloom class, also first in the 10 bloom class. Burma has excellent form, heavy substance, good stems which hold the blooms erect and does not burn in the sun. An outstanding variety. Division...$20.00

(6 Nov 1920) Page(s) 11. National Rose Society's Show. [...] and Mr. Alister Clark's exhibit of seedling roses, raised by him at Glenara. These seedlings, as on former occasions, were much admired. A fine decorative rose, called Firedragon, received the award of merit, and is to be exhibited again for the society's gold medal. This is a well formed, full rose of rich crimson colour, about the shade of Richmond, very free blooming, with the dark green foliage so characteristic of the Glenara seedlings.

[...] Another dainty single rose is very appropriately named Ringlet. The outer edges of the petals are a delicate rosy-pink colour, the rest creamy white, with the golden yellow stamens in the centre forming three distinct circlets of beautifully toning colours.
