The breeder of 'Peach Tea" is John David Pottschmidt. This was confirmed by April & Asley Roses who sell this rose.

Hello, I have been a long time user and now a full on fan as a paid member but recently the webpage has become unusable. The last update has caused every other page to say server error on all browsers I try it on. Sometimes I can get a page or 2 to open before the server error appears but it’s become completely unusable as a reference, forum, and community space since nothing is assessable. when you go to the report error page this is the first time I've gotten that to not have the error. Was this reported already? The error always states cannot connect to server. Thank you for this service! Hopefully it gets resolved. Mike

As posted in reply to a similar query:
We are aware of the issues with our website and we are working to move the website to a new website hosting provider. The process is complex and time consuming but we are almost ready to make the move. It will require the website be offline for 2 to 3 hours during the move.
The new website hosting service account is significantly more powerful and spacious.
Meanwhile,... we apologize for the inconvenience through this difficult time. Aspects of our website's performance and reliability appear to be out of our control sense our old hosting provider company was sold to another.

You will be pleased to see some enhancements coming soon. We needed to address the system hacking and performance issues first.

FYI, recently, HMF become the target of very coordinated and earnest attacks to disrupt our website. We continue to address these efforts but it's a bit like playing wack-a-mole as we lock down different avenues of attack. We are making progress and of course we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration (here too).

That stinks, they need to leave our beloved forum alone we need this place. But glad the HMF team is crushing it. today looks like everything is working nice and cleanly!

Thank you all for the updates!
We are not quite completely back to normal as there are still email issues to resolve. We have moved from processing email directly on the HMF server to an email service company that specializes in securing all emails (in and out). It's a little complex to initially setup and we are working the kinks out. ... almost there.

Is there a fragrance to the leaves when the hairs are rubbed? I recall once coming upon a variety with hair like dscribed here, there was a fragrance when handling the foliage, but i belive it may have come from glands on the reverse of leaves. I could never identify it. My memory's failing me now. It's been over ten years and that plant no longer exists.
