impressive plant after 3 years in the ground. About 1.5x1.5m, blooms in small, tight clusters that last long on the plant. I believe it could be one generation farther from hultemia compared to most commercially available hybrids, and it looks like a floribunda under every aspect except for the blotch. Excellent blackspot resistance.

Its blotch is not as separated from the rest of the petal as in most hulthemias, and is not as rounded. This characteristic is easily transmitted to its seedling. Easy to work with as a pollen parent, I would have to try harder as a seed parent, but feasible.

After several years (and a slow start) in my hot humid Zone 9b yard Golden Buddha has become a small but quite healthy blooming machine.
