Synonyms:
19SL06
Origin:
Bred by Duane Scheidemantle (United States, 2019).
Class:
Unknown or unspecified class
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
There is a possibility the pollen parent was Ramblin Red. Fragrance wouldn't seem to match that, but the vigor would. Also, some offspring from using this as seed parent lean toward red or purple.
Tall and vigorous plant (looking similar to a grandiflora) here in our climate. I am wondering if it could be encouraged to climb and fill out a lot in a warmer climate with milder winters.
Works as a seed parent: not the most seeds or germinations, but can create beautiful offspring with the strong citrus/old rose fragrance.
