Quick summary: If you have limited space, grow something else. It's not worth the space it takes up. Big plant, small (and few) roses, spotty scent.

I have Rock & Roll, and has no one else had a blackspot issue with it? I read where it's supposedly very disease resistant, but it sure hasn't been for me. It's also been an awkward grower for me. My plant also has a tendency to have flowers that are 90% red with just a little white. This is on my short "shovel prune" list for next year unless something major happens. I just don't "get" this rose. It does smell nice though.

Post 2017 Update: This one is getting the "axe" this year. The blooms aren't a very nice shape on mine, and it doesn't produce that many. Plus, they're almost always completely red. I've had blackspot issues too.

Have you tried 'Scentimental' or 'Oranges n Lemons'? I live in a terrible blackspot area and these two stripy roses do reasonably well.

one of my favorite unusual color rose in terms of it's fragrance, bloom form and disease resistant. I have own root, grafted and even standard tree.
