Bred by Rolf Sievers (Germany, 1974).

Deep pink.  Strong fragrance.  Very full (41+ petals), quartered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Upright.  Semi-glossy foliage.  
Height of 6' to 7' (185 to 215 cm).  Width of 4' to 7' (120 to 215 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
Bred 1974, registered 1988.
Mike Lowe of Lowe's Roses says Sievers bred this rose in 1984 and classifies it as a Hybrid Alba... the flowers are medium red, fully double, and sometimes quartered... This rose is growing at the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden.
