"Summer Blush" (Rolf Sievers 1974) Flower color rose-red, flower very double, very fragrant, quartered. Plant very healthy, very hardy, glossy foliage. 1x flowering, upright to overhanging, up to 3-4 m tall. (Small Maiden's Blush x Hamburger Phoenix)

Summer Blush. A new Alba hybrid with a red kordesii rose, raised by Sievers in Germany and introduced in 1988. It has strong-growing, arching stems to 5 ft (1.5 m). The flowers are bright red, fully double, and almost Gallica-like, produced only in early summer with a strong sweet scent. Hardy to -30°F (-34° C), Zone 4.
