Notes:
Only two self set seed from my dying Stellata mirifica germinated. One is traditional appearing for the type, and this one, which has great vigor and appears very much as if the "bees" helped by supplying R. Fedtschenkoana pollen. The foliage, prickles, plant coloring are all reminiscent of Fedtschenkoana. The seedling germinated in 2012 and flowered for the first time in late August, 2013. There is a slight evergreen scent to the new growth tips.
