This rose is kind of a mystery to me. It just appeared there. Next to this place, I shovel-pruned my sickly Queen Elizabeth three years ago. Would a rose come back after all that time? Hardly, and if, you'd expect the rootstock to grow again, not the rose itself. It might also be Märchenland which is three yards away, except she doesn't do heps, nor have I ever seen her sucker. Then again, it is obviously a modern garden rose, so what and whence? Very odd.
