Just posting this 1915 catalogue photo of 'Cornelia Cook' here for those who grow 'Jesse Hildreth" to compare and consider whether it could be a contender. Certainly both foliages appear (semi) glossy and the blooms do look very similar.
I've said this before but "Jesse Hildreth" looks to be such a gorgeous rose.
