Thank you Dave. This rose is excellent in my garden. It is beautiful, healthy, and repeats well in my garden. Thank you for creating this rose and many other wonderful striped roses. Have you thought about creating nostalgic petal packed bloom roses like Juliet ( David Austin wedding rose), Miyabi (Japanese Wabara garden rose), Julie Andrieu (Delbard rose)...? It will be wonderful if roses similar to those can also be available to US rose gardeners. I can’t wait to see more of your new roses. Helen

I do have one rose that has seemingly endless petals and is extremely fragrant. I call it twinkle little star. You can see it here on help me find. You can buy it from the place you got swirly pop. When roses have that confused center I typically throw them away unless they are clean of disease. Some of my first roses like swirly pop, twinkle etc were my pride and joy. In those early days of breeding powdery mildew was to be expected but now that Jim Sproul has graciously given me some of his powdery mildew free roses, I have been breeding with them producing some clean beauties. So anything new I am setting the bar higher. Right now anything new I keep has to be powdery mildew free. These will be the next series of roses I am planning on releasing within a year.

I checked out the rose, and it’s beautiful. Soon I’ll received 7 more of your striped roses from ForLoveOfRoses. It’s a great news that your coming roses are even healthier than the ones you already released. Thank you for your beautiful creations.

I’m still amazed that you live from a driving distant from my house. I have a small garden, but I like to collect beautiful unique roses. I have an Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/webcoolz/ where I share the pics of some of your roses and other roses and give comments how they perform in my garden. Helen

I agree on Swirly Pop, it has been outstanding. It is my most-commented-on mini. The striping holds true even in high heat and I haven't seen a spec of disease in my no-spray garden.

Nice. What seven new ones are you going to receive. I am always in santa clara so we should hook up some time. I will also be giving a slide show of some new hybrids at the santa clara county rose society December meeting.

Here are the 7 roses I'll get: Bleeding Heart, Eureka, Love & Passion, Strawberry Delight, Summer Splash, Swizzle, and Twist ‘N Shout. That's a great idea. I'm sure I'll learn a lot about roses from you. Is the Santa Clara county rose society December meeting is open to the public or just for members?

Thank you for the heads up about the December meeting.

LOL, HMF hasn't updated their encoding scheme yet. I normally just use :) for smiling face in a text-only input box. I also like HMF has "Edit Post" option because nowadays sometimes when we do multitasking, we often need to go back to make things clearer.

Hello!

I was wondering if you or anyone can point me in the direction of a nursery that sells your roses? Possibly one that would be willing to ship them? I'm afraid I don't live close.

I adore many of your roses, but I haven't had much luck finding anywhere that actually sells them. I'm specifically interested in the "A Night of Magic", "Black Cherry Ice Cream", and "Vampire" ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for your time!
A.M

I can provide you with some your needs. If you send me your email address we can talk. Or you can go to forloveofroses dot com and richard the owner can help you find what you are looking for. Many of my roses are there but some like vampire are not available. There are however other roses that are very similar. A night of magic is available at for love of. Also the one you saved on you profile. It is now called Eureka and is available at for love of roses.
Take care
Dave

You should add ‘Eureka’ to your list of roses in HelpMeFind.

I purchased a rose at the CCRS auction -- Dave Bang #2---- It has just started taking off and it is breathtaking. Is this rose going to be available for purchase? I would really like to recommend it to others.
