This happens often with abracadabra. What you seeing are the two roses that abracadabra sported from. Frisco is the yellow. Black beauty sported from frisco. Hocus pocus or abracadabra sported from black beauty.

Dave, I see you have today added many of your roses to HelpMeFind. In the case if ‘Pink Pearl’, ‘Eureka’, ‘Elegance’ and ‘Delightful’, we have four or five other roses with those names. We normally add (class, breeder and date) after the name to distinguish them. I have added the class and breeder, but unfortunately don’t have the date, so will leave that up to you to add.

There is little information about the roses in the files you have opened. Could you add the colour and, preferably other information, as is listed in your ‘Captivating’.
Many thanks.

I am the breeder of the rose Swirly Pop. Dave Bang. I am trying to add a nursery to the profile. It says I do not have authority to add K and M Roses. Please advise

Yes I was up very late last night trying to enter as many as possible with the intention of entering all that info tonight or the following day. Many people have asked me to get the profile started so they can see the rose and the class that is on the identification image. Definitely will get on filling out the other info when I get off work today.

I am confused however how I was able to create a profile with duplicate names of the one you mentioned but not these ones below.

Hawaiian sunset
Dreamcatcher
Angel kisses
Magical moment
Mango blush
Spice of life
Strawberry Delight
Summer splash

If you could set those up or show me how to bypass the page being directed to the one already established that would be great.
Thank You
Dave

I am glad you have sorted out the ‘Swirly Pop’ nursery comment.

If you look at the list of your roses BY YEAR BRED you have 46 roses with “unknown date”. You need to put a bred date on these.

I have added (class, Breeder date) to the eight roses you listed:
Hawaiian Sunset (hybrid tea, Swim 1962)
Dreamcatcher (Miniature Cl., McCann 1995)
Angel Kisses (climber, Grant 1996)
Magical Moment (hybrid tea, Millington 2011)
"Mango Blush" (found rose)
Spice of Life (floribunda, Dickson 2004j
Strawberry Delight (miniature, Rennie 1989)
Summer Splash ™ (mini-flora, Chaffin 2001)

When you are setting up your new files, you need to add the same for your roses. You should have no problem.

Still working on locating the dates. Lots of photos and paper work in finding the germination date.

For Love of Roses is closed. K and M Roses in Mississippi sells it.

I love your roses and ordered 7 last year from For Love of Roses. I've purchased roses from them since 2013. I never got the roses and was given numerous excuses from Richard Anthony over several months why he couldn't ship them. Now I'm trying to get a refund. It now appears that For Love of Roses has gone belly up. He doesn't answer emails or phone calls, one number has been disconnected. The reason for this post is do you have any plans for making your roses availabe to any online rose venders?

Yes You are correct about richard. It cost me money doing business with him. I never received a penny from him for the sales. I am now working with K and M nursery in Mississippi. I sent Jim Mills cuttings in December. Jim is working hard to make them available in the fall of this year. There will be grafts on fortuniana and some own root. I am really sorry you got screwed on your order. Can I ask which ones you ordered. Hope You have a great day.
Take care
Dave

That absolutely stinks that he stiffed you. This thing with Richard Anthony is getting stranger and stranger. He seemed like a nice honest guy when I talked with him on the phone several times. Guess not.

The roses that I ordered were: Code of Honor, Heart of Fire, It's a Keeper, Love & Passion, Summer Splash, Swizzle, and Twist 'N Shout. I did manage to acquire Swirly Pop, Dreamsicle, and Eternal Hope on an earlier order. I love all three. There were a few more I was hoping to order this year. I have the link to K and M Nursery website. I hope they will be offered as own root since I grow all my roses in containers now.

Thanks
Dave N.
