You've been busy! Thanks! It just goes to prove the old saying you can tell just how good a breeder thinks a rose is by what name he gives it. Jim named this one for his lovely wife. Unless you want frozen Salisbury steak for dinner, you don't name junk for your wife! Very nice photos, thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Kim! I think about that now when ever I see her bloom. It makes perfect sense to name your best rose for your best girl, lol!
I take tons of pictures all season but don't have the time to post them because I'm busy with the roses. Winter gives me the perfect opportunity! I'm bored and missing my roses so I get to look at their lovely pictures and have a lot of time to post!

That's one up-side of having a "winter"...you can do something other than maintain the garden. We lose sight of that here in the land of endless summer. Yes, knowing the motivation, meaning of the name really does increase your enjoyment of the rose, doesn't it? I've grown many simply because of why they were named.
