Bred by Michael Henry Horvath (United States, 1899).
Introduced in United States by Pitcher and Manda Nursery in 1899 as 'Jersey Beauty'.

Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, ages to cream .  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Large, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of 12' to 16' (365 to 490 cm).  Width of 10' (305 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Vigorous.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Prune after flowering is finished.
