I realize blue roses are rare. Are there any blue miniatures?

There currently are no true blue or black roses. The reason for this is genetic; roses lack the genetic code to produce blue or black pigment. "Blue" or "mauve" rose categories are usually of a pale, silvery pink or mauve color, but are not a true blue color.
If you have been told otherwise, your source is in error.

Assuming you consider "mauve" (the closest ARS designation to blue), 'Sweet Chariot' and 'Ruby Pendant' are two of the highest rated "mauve" miniatures. 'Sweet Chariot' has a strong damask scent while 'Ruby Pendant' can grow up to 7 feet (interesting, given that it's pollen parent is Baby Betsy McCall; one of the smallest roses).

Greetings, To my knowledge there are no Blue roses in existence. The first breeder to propagate a blue rose will gain world-wide fame and the rose will be sought after by rose lovers world-wide. I have a mini-miniature rose named "Blue Skies" 10" with (B) 3/4" that is light in color, a mauve, that is the closest thing to blue I know about. Many roses with blue in their names aren't blue, for example "Blue Girl" a full-size rose that is mauve but no where close to blue. If you do discover a blue rose let me know. Thank you. Best and Good Luck. Frank Adams Mini-roses#1
