My mother has a bush given to her from her father. I would like to start a new bush from the exsisting one. How can I do that?

Here are a couple of web sites that will guide you through the process of propagating a new rose from a cutting.

All you need is a small cutting off your Mother's bush, about 6 to 7 inches long..........cut (on an angle) just below a new bud (which will then become the bottom that you will put in the seed raising mixture) and the top should be cut just above a new bud ( also on an angle) .......dip the bottom into some rooting powder then plant it into a pot that you have filled with Seed raising mixture. Mine are doing great in a pot on a table against a west wall getting full sun from Midday onwards and watered regularly. Hope it works for you too. Good Luck.! Regards Gidge
