Bloom:
Cream, ages to white . Strong fragrance. up to 150 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters, button-eye, flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Arching, climbing, thornless (or almost). Small, light green foliage. Height of 5' to 12' (150 to 365 cm). Width of 5' to 8' (150 to 245 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 9b. Very hardy. very vigorous. prefers cool sites..
Notes:
Parentage uncertain, please see References. Blloms of 'Mme Hardy' and 'Mme Plantier' are very similar. 'Mme Hardy' has upright, thorny canes, while 'Mme Plantier has arching, thin canes which are practically without prickles.
