Mauve or mauve blend Centifolia.
Bred by Unknown (before 1792).
Introduced in France by Godefroy in 1817 as 'Perle d'Orient'.
Damask, Gallica / Provins, Hybrid Gallica.  
Purple to red, violet shading.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
USDA zone 4b through 8b.
