Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1998 as 'Purple Haze'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Eurosa in 1998 as 'Leeds Castle'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Red, purple shading.  None / no fragrance.  4 to 7 petals.  Average diameter 4.75".  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, spreading.  Small, glossy foliage.  

Height: 20" to 2' (50 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for ground cover.
