Breeder's notes:
The second of this series to flower. From mixed pollen of the Fedtschenkoana hybrids. First flower opened 3/7/2011 and contained 8 petals and three petaloids. There is a mild musty, spicy fragrance unlike any I'm familiar with in roses. Of all the seedlings, this has the most HT like foliage with very bronze new growth and matte, medium green mature leaves. The plant is tall, lanky, arching nearly semi=climbing, very much in the style of the Repeat flowering Orangeade X Fedtschenkoana plant. Its first winter, it was mostly deciduous.

The main canes are quite prickly with gray, sharp prickles densely packed on the purple wood. Newer growth is green to match the foliage.

Cabernet Pink, starting iridescent, softening with a slight tinge of blue in the petal reverse (Cherry Rose Pink). The blue undertones are a trait inherited from Orangeade.

Petals maintain scent after falling.

Culled 9/16/2012
