Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1957).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisons Horticulture Ltd. as 'Casanova'.
Introduced in Australia by Langbecker in 1967 as 'Casanova'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow.  Straw or chrome yellow. Yellow changing to buff.  Moderate fragrance.  up to 38 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 4½' (135cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
