Melbourne Australia, November 2012. This is only a one year old plant and has been comparatively robust. Thee first blooms are so striking agains the Pierre de Ronsard.

This is the size cutting that works most often for me. Notice that the "cutting" was "slipped" off of the plant, meaning torn off gently, rather than cut. This same kind of cutting can be removed using secateurs. Notice also that there are enough bud eyes to place 3 under the soil, 3 above the soil.
