Given the off-name of this rose is Uncle Merc, and Uncle Walter is the seed parent, Mercedes (McGredy) is probably the pollen parent. But, no way to prove that so I'm just leaving this note here.	REPLY

$1.50 a plant!!! New roses are $24.99 locally now. Some Flower Carpets are like... $34.99 each (I fainted, too).	REPLY

I bought Flower Carpet (gold) (var. Noalesa) in 2006 and it was the most money I had ever paid for a rose. Remember thinking at the time I was mad. Time and the plant has proved me so. Give us the good old days.	REPLY
