Difficult to answer. NIRP is a breeding, marketing and licensing organisation established mid 1960s in France. Today, it is led by the Italian Ghione family. They are mainly active in the area of cut roses, but also breed garden rose themselves or market roses of other (mainly French) breeders worldwide. French breeders Michel Adam, Paul Pekmez, Bertrand Sauvageot cooperate with NIRP in this manner. Roses by Adam and NIRP have often the same trade name, but different varietal names (breeder codes). Whether these are identical or not is diffficult to answer if one is not in the trade.

Regan Nursery is listed as selling this rose, but Regan actually sells the 1980 Greff Anastasia.
