'Continued Friendship' rose Reviews & Comments
HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

I think the listing of Harkness here as a supplier is incorrect. They list a rose called "Continued Friendship" which does not at all look like "Golden Zest", and is a rose they bred at Harkness, which they call "Harpal".

Probably should be removed as a supplier of this rose.

Well spotted Johnm99. The rose Harkness supplies is ‘Yours in Continued Friendship’. Thank you.

This rose smells like black pepper in my garden. An attractive flower but the plant is lanky and highly susceptible to black spot

This rose has a lemony scent that is quite strong. The blooms are beautiful and very plentiful. The rose bush itself is probably 3 feet tall, but it is a first year. The blooms open yellow and then fade to a deep gold. This rose started me on yellows, as I was not a fan of yellow roses before I fell in love with this one's scent.

Does it have a long bloom time?

The blooms only seem to last a few days in the extreme heat that we have been experiencing. However the 2 bushes that I have of this one seem to rarely be without a bloom. It bounced back from the 'Easter Freeze' without a lot of problems. This rose is well worth the space.
