I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne( Victoria Australia)
I grow "Kuba" in a large water-well pot, in morning sun , it is one of the best clematis I have after a great display in spring & summer i pruned it in Febuary & 5 weeks later i had another flush. We did have an exceptionally hot March.
Tha rest of my clematis are in the ground in various aspect of my garden
