This plant has been in the ground 6 weeks, from bare root. On multiflora, from Thomas for Roses.
The blooms are overexposed in this shot, but Maurizio's pictures show them well. It really is a beautiful little rose.
Unfortunately, in my climate, it is already showing a worrying susceptibility to blackspot. This fungus appears to be spreading throughout the entire plant. I will have to give it more time to see how it develops, but it may not be a viable garden shrub in my climate.
