The roses are at their peak around July 1. The earlier varieties start blooming in late June. Over 100 varieties are on display to show you the possibilities of a rose garden in the north.

The Cleveland Rose Society Rose Show 2000 will be held at Beachwood Place.

The First Royal National Rose Society/Royal Horticultural Society Rose Weekend will take place at Rosemoor Garden, Devon.

The Royal National Rose Scoiety's National Southern Show will take place at Squires Garden Centre, Shepperton, Middlesex.

The Quebec Rose Society will celebrate their tenth anniversary by hosting the Canadian National Rose Show and the Yankee District of the American Rose Society at the Rose Expo 2000 International Rose Show. The theme for the Show is The Year of the Rose. Location is Champlain Regional College, St. Lambert Campus, 900 Riverside Drive, St. Lambert, Quebec.
