The Convention of The World Federation of Rose Societies in Glasgow includes an 8-day program combining a series of lectures with an opportunity to visit many fine gardens. There is a pre-Convention tour which includes a visit to the Royal National Rose Society's Gardens of the Rose, in St. Albans, The Queen Mary Rose Garden, David Austin's Nursery and Garden, Mottisfont Abbey, Kiftsgate Court, Sissinghurst Castle, Castle Howard, and a visit to the British Rose Festival at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. There are also post-Cinvention tours of Scottish gardens and attractions. An International Rose Show will be held within one of Glasgow's parks.
