The Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society will host its 10th Anniversary Rose Show themed "Carousel of Roses" on Saturday, October 12, 2003, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, at Valencia Town Center, 24201 W. Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita, California. The show is located inside the mall near the waterfall.

All rose growers are welcome to exhibit at the show, including novices and children. You do not have to be a member of the society to exhibit and there are no entry fees; just bring your roses as the society will furnish the vases. There will be 68 prizes (crystal giftware) and more than 500 ribbons awarded. Seven large Waterford crystal trophies will be given to the top roses. Three novices can win a crystal prize as well as a $25 gift certificate from Green Thumb Nursery.

Entries will be received in the parking lot behind J C Penney from 7:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday morning. The Hybrid Tea Queen, Floribunda Queen, Miniature Queen, Shrub Queen, Dowager Queen and other trophy winners will be presented their awards at 2:00 pm.
