Full Bloom in the Garden

Roses of Yesterday and Today
12 Apr 2009 (Sunday)  -  30 Jun 2009 (Tuesday)
Roses of Yesterday & Today
803 Browns Valley Road
Watsonville, California 95076-0343
United States

The roses in the garden at Roses of Yesterday and Today begin opening a little later here than most of the Bay Area, due to the unique micro-climate of the garden which is located in a redwood forested canyon with a year-round running stream. Roses begin opening in March, with the Banksia roses in full bloom early April through the end of April, and many of the roses in peak bloom around mid-May. Many of the once annual garden roses do not open until the first week of June, so it may take a few visits to enjoy the full experience. The garden is open every day, including holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Picnic tables are available.
