Origin:
Bred by Ernest D. Williams (United States, 1977).
Introduced in United States by Mini Roses of Texas in 1977 as 'Elfinglo'.
Class:
Micro-Miniature, Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red - purple.  Strong fragrance.  33 petals.  Average diameter 0.5".  Small, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, compact.  Small, glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for container rose.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
