In looking at the descendants of Brides Dream I came across something tha puzzled me.
What exactly does it mean that Esme Euvrard is a hybrid of Brides Dream??? Does that mean it is a sport of Brides Dream? Or does it mean that it came from an open pollinated hip of Brides Dream so that it is from the pollen and seed of Brides Dream?

John....

The only parentage information we have for this rose comes from Botanica's Roses and they list the parentage as a 'hybrid of 'Bride's Dream'. Kordes does not patent all of their roses in the United States and we are unable to get the exact parentage from another source. Your question will remain unanswered until someone can find a complete reference to the parentage of 'Esme Euvard'.

Smiles,
Lyn
