Heritage roses available on an in-stock basis, first come first served. Potted rose sales direct from the nursery preferred, roses from a limited list available via mail order year round (no TAS, WA, NT) New season roses available from December each year.

A large garden that displays many hundreds of heritage roses & Mediterranean climate plants opens its gates from October 25 to November 25 each year for your perusal and enjoyment. A limited amount of the dispalyed roses will be offered each year for sale when the garden is open.

We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 5.30. We are situated 5ks outside of the small country town of Eudunda, perched on the very edge of the Northern Mount Lofty Ranges. A scenic drive from Adelaide going through Gawler and Kapunda, with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside and farms. Our climate is Mediterranean with hot dry summers and quite cold wet and frosty winters. Our rainfall here is from 450-500 mls a year, less in a drought year. Old roses flourish in these extreme conditions without skipping a beat, they rarely suffer any blackspot or mildew diseases, we don't spray them with any chemicals, except for an occasional copper spray in winter. Aphids are taken care of by armies of ladybirds and honeyeater birds who polish off the aphids with relish. Modern roses need more water but also love our dry conditions .
