Bourbon.  Carmine-red, lighter outer petals.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, very full (41+ petals), quartered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   Maurice-Augustin Bizard (1833).

Damask Perpetual.  Pink to light pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, very double bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.   Unknown (1846).

Hybrid Gallica, Hybrid Villosa, Miscellaneous OGR.  Pink.  Medium, single to semi-double bloom form.  USDA zone 4b through 8b.   Jean-Pierre Vibert (1823).

Found Rose, China / Bengale.  Cherry-red to crimson, white streaks..  Mild, raspberry fragrance.  Small to medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, in large clusters, cupped-to-flat, globular, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 7b through 10b.  
Height: 30" to 6' (75 to 185cm).  Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm). Coquereau, Coquerel, Unknown, Unknown Belgian breeder(s), Villor

Bourbon.  Rose-pink, violet shading, ages to lilac .  Large, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 5b through 10b.   Jean Desprez (1831).
