Climber, Hybrid Wichurana, Large-Flowered Climber, Rambler.
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, copper shading, tan center. Mild to strong fragrance. 40 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped, open bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Large, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing. Glossy foliage.
Height: 6'7" to 20' (200 to 610cm). Width: 10' to 15' (305 to 455cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Very vigorous. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Prune after flowering is finished. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
