Hybrid Rugosa. Description. Named for a Swiss novelist and poet admired for the aristocratic purity of his German. Introduced by Doctor Franz Müller (Weingarten) 1899. Flowers: large, fragrant, silver pink. Parentage: Rosa rugosa x 'Gloire de Dijon'.
