...lovely garden of Lady Byng at Thorpe-le-Soken, essey, at the end of May some years ago. I saw there a lofty wall covered with the old climber, Dr. rouges, vermilion red. It was a perfect mass of bloom, and I believe was planted soon after the Rose was introduced in 1893.
