'Henri Barruet'  Rosa luciæ X ?  Obtenu par Barbier en 1908. Haut. 10 m. Ses bouquets abondants (de 8 à 15 fleurs), jaune cuivré en boutons, s'ouvrent sur un rose lilacé teinté de blanc, de la mi-juin à la fin. Leur oarfum est un des plus suaves. Les fleurs ont une taille moyenne. Excellent en rosier pleureur.

(Wichuraiana) Bred by that famous Frenchman, Barbier. It is still offered by four French nurseries so it should perform well in California and the south. It is also listed by Love's nursery in Denmark so it should be winter-hardy. Very large, charming, old-fashioned blooms that are continuously tinted and blended with tones of copper yellow and purply pink. The flowers are produced in clusters. A very interesting and rare collector's rose. Vigorous, 8-15 ft. Repeat blooming (1918)
