I want to love this rose so badly; the optimistic name, the classic 1950s style, the beautiful bicolor blend. But in my So Cal zone 9b garden, the foliage sunburns and the flowering stops in high heat, and it seems to need lots of water. Must be more at home in cooler, wetter climates. Boo hoo ☹️

Hi there, I am new to helpmefind and I was hoping someone might be able to help with identifying a rose cutting I was given from my Grandmothers garden after she passed away two years ago.(Aged a wonderful 95 and a terrific gardening inspiration!)  I was told the rose was Silver Lining but from all pics I have seen of this rose it is quite different. It is more like Double Delight in shape, size, fragrance and colour except instead of red it is dark pink.

Growth is quite vigorous and to about 1.2m tall on a very healthy bush and flowering is not continuos but repeats very quickly.

I have attached some photos if someone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards

Yvonne.
