Yes, probably. They used ('Radar' x 'Caprice') in 'Banzai 1961; 'Charleston 1963; 'Fidelia 1964; and 'Tamango <1965. But that was 20 years before the 1987 rose 'Baron Meillandina'.
I don't think it is MEIdar, but Medar. See the 1957 reference for 'Radar'.
And I think this 'Medar / Meidar' file needs to be merged with 'Radar'. Tomorrow.............

Good catch! Weird, in this, there is no MEI present, but "Me".
