Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1910).
Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1910 as 'Souvenir de Gustave Prat'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Souvenir de Gustave Prat'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, lighter edges, darker center.  Sulphur yellow.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, spreading, well-branched.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly dedicated to Charles Arnaud Frédérick Gustave Prat (August 20, 1866 Montigny - before 1913), son of Léon Prat (1838-1905), landowner. A "Place Gustave Prat" exists in the town of Canteleu, Normandie, where Gustave Prat and his wife Louise Ernestine Noémie Florentine Cauvin (1873 - December 11, 1948) lived in the Château de Canteleu.
