Discovered by Samuel Davidson McGredy III (United Kingdom, 1936).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'McGredy's Orange'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, orange reverse, salmon-orange shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost), upright.  Reddish-purple foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
