Class: Found Rose, Hybrid Noisette, Noisette, Shrub, Understock.   
Bloom: Light pink.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.   
Habit: Armed with thorns / prickles, few or no prickles/thorns.  Blue-green foliage.  
 Height: 6' to 5' (185 to 150cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for understock.   
Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind). 
Notes: Introduced in United Kingdom  by Thomas Rivers & Son Ltd around 1835. Vibiand-Morel claims in 1915 that 'Manetti' is a seedling of 'Rosier de l'Ile Bourbon', bred by Bertin.The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses 2000-2001  says this rose was commonly used as an understock in the 19th century, especially in the U.S.A.
