Brasier (Garden & Decorative) It is a Pernetiana variety, eminently suitable for drier and cooler climes (A. H. M. Mts. P. & S.) where its long dark flaming red buds, which open glowing fiery red, are most distinctive. A grand decorative (Pernetiana). Fragrant. Habit 3.

New Roses 1938. Brasier (Pernt. Mallerin, 1936) F. 3.  Long buds of dark flaming red, opening to glowing fiery red, which makes the name appropriate.  This is a good decorative variety with Pernetiana characters and has died back slightly here, but will no doubt be free of this fault in drier areas.  A.H.M. Mts.P.S.

Brasier HT. (Mallerin, 1936)  A splendid decorative with a particularly appropriate name, as the red petals have a quarter to half inch yellow zone at the base. Altogether a vivid and unique colouring, well deserving the title to "novelty".

New Roses 1938. Brasier (HT.  Ch. Mallerin, 1936) Exceptionally vigorous and profuse flowering, with glistening, dark green, disease resisting foliage. Long bud of red with dark flames, flower glowing red as in a brazier; this hitherto unsurpassed colour has given rise to its name.  5-/ each.
A very unique colour and aptly named. Good decorative.
