Bred by Alister Clark (1864-1949) (Australia, 1920).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Cracker'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, white center.  None to mild, sweetbriar fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
Notes:
There is some doubt as to whether the rose in Sangerhausen or the cultivar now grown in Australia as ‘Cracker’ is correctly named. Refer references.
