Origin:
Bred by Unknown Dutch origin (Netherlands, before 1790).
Class:
Agatha/Agathe, Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Crimson, purple shading.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
If you know the parentage of this rose, or other details, please contact us.
Notes:
François Joyaux states that 'La Majestueuse' in L'Haÿ is pink with pale pink edges, i.e. it cannot be the original. Possibly 'Agatha Majestueuse'? However also this rose was not in the 1902 collection.
Could 'Majestueuse' be 'Aimable Rouge' in commerce?
