Bred by George Paul (1841-1921) (United Kingdom, 1880).
Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'Glory of Cheshunt'.

Bloom:
Crimson, yellow stamens.  Medium, semi-double to double, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Large foliage.
